Energy Drain and Reave are good choices as Bonus Powers. Most of the Enemies you will be facing are shielded organics. Try to prioritize bonuses to shields and health, especially on higher difficulties. You will be on your own for the majority of this Assignment. Assignments are secondary quests in Mass Effect 2, that are not mandatory to progress the game's story, but provide context and flavor by meeting interesting NPCs of all kind of Races, granting additional experience, and letting the player visit extraordinary and unique planets.Īrrival (Assignment) Walkthrough Getting Ready A deep-cover operative that claims to have proof of an imminent Reaper invasion. Arrival (Assignment) is is about rescuing Dr. ![]() Whatever decision you make is up to you, but once you've made said decision, the side quest will end in success, and you'll be automatically transported back to the Normandy.Arrival (Assignment) is an Assignment in Mass Effect 2. You'll be given the option to send it to the Alliance (for Paragon points), send it to Cerberus (a neutral decision), or keep the data for yourself (for Renegade points). Examine it to find the heavily-encrypted data Agent Rawlings had on him. On your left, you'll find this crew's computer terminal. You can see the agent's body on a table to your right. This is the room where Agent Rawlings was brutally and mercilessly interrogated (to no avail, mind you). Hack the door (which you should easily be able to do), and you'll be granted access to the small room on the other side. Once you've done all of that, head to the locked door down a straight, outdoor passageway. If you traverse this brief catwalk to the dead end, you'll find another stash of precious metals tucked against the far wall, in between a wall and a pipe. Then, backtrack towards where the last wave of enemies came from, and seek out an outdoor corridor that leads to a dead end. You should be able to find a medical kit here, as well as a safe that, once hacked, will surrender thousands of credits. This is where the first wave of enemies poured out of. First, go back to the computer terminal, and explore the adjacent room. The corridor leading down towards a locked door is where we ultimately need to go, but for the time being, ignore it. Regardless of the lack of foes, you'll still need to focus on finding some more items before heading out on your way. Once the last enemy in that more robust wave of thugs has fallen, there will be no more enemies around here to deal with. Thankfully, there's plenty of cover for you to work with here, so you shouldn't have any complications in felling this final enemy force. These guys are a bit tougher than the enemies you initially dealt with - some of them have two barrier shields before you get to whittle down their health. Be sure to hack the computer next to the security terminal to garner some credits before continuing.Īs soon as you back out of the computer terminal's interface, you're going to be attacked from enemies on your left (if your back is facing the way you initially entered this base). Making matters worse, they're attempting to crack it. Unfortunately, Agent Rawlings has since been killed by this group, though the encrypted data he had on him is still in their hands. By all accounts (via the computer), you'll learn that any information retained by Agent Rawlings hasn't been divulged. By examining the computer terminal, you'll learn more about the captured agent, a human male named Agent Rawlings. He has sensitive information and data, and it must be retained by Cerberus at all costs. All you know is that a Cerberus operative has been captured on this planet, and is being held by this group called Eclipse. You have very limited intel about the situation here. The next thing you're going to want to do is use the computer terminal ahead to figure out just what's going on around here. Some of the downed enemies should have dropped ammunition if you need it, so scour for that as well once all is said and done. You can deal with stragglers around the room as soon as no more enemies attempt to make an appearance through the aforementioned door. That means that, if you're aggressive and you have good aim, you can kill most of the enemies as they appear before they're ever able to return the favor. ![]() The good news is that, with the exception of the troopers and vanguards already posted in the room upon your entrance, the rest will storm out of the door directly ahead of you, up the small staircase. However, the more powerful, heavily-armed and armored Eclipse Vanguards can be a bit more annoying to handle. The Eclipse Troopers you encounter here are a bunch of weaklings, so you shouldn't have too much difficulty dealing with them.
